A good quality turbine that size might cost $2,500 USD for the turbine and controls, then you need a tower, which could be that much again depending on its size, type and who does the work. Then you have to decide if you want to connect right to the grid, which requries a grid tie inverter, or use batteries and an independent inverter instead. There are lots of questions to answer, not the least of which is how much wind do you have? It is cherry-picking at its finest because it is well-known/accepted/established that men commit more violent crimes than women. We hone in on this one because it contradicts the stereotype that women are supposed to be maternal, though there is no objective reason why murdering a baby should mean more than murdering a girlfriend or wife or random neighbor. There is also no reason why maternal instincts by themselves should make a woman worthy of something. Men can be respected for their careers all the while not being good fathers, but a woman is immediately judged based on how much she can be there for her children. Not to mention the extenuating circumstances involved in the murder of young children. Women are, on average, around their young children more often (more opportunity) and at a time when they are not themselves. Having a kid throws off one’s hormones and stresses one out. Add to that sleep deprivation and you have a potential disaster on your hands. It’s amazing, in my opinion, that anyone keeps their babies at all.
